Ladakh is a region in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir that currently extends from the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram range to the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent.

If you also believe that the Gods live in the mountains, you must head directly to Ladakh, the Land of High Passes!
Guarded by the astounding Himalayas, cossetted by pearly-white snow, and inhabited by the warmest people in the world, it is a place that can make you forget the rest of the World!
A paradise on earth, Ladakh not only boasts of its miraculous beauty, but also takes the pride of being a home to many natural and man-made wonders.

Many migrants have traveled through Ladakh, some settling on the way, giving a distinctive characteristic to its population – from the west, early Dard settlers and later-day invaders from Baltistan; from the east, Tibetan settlers, invaders and rulers; from the north, traders from Yarkand; and much later, Dogra conquerors from Jammu in the south.

I’ve had a surreal experience visiting Leh every mountain was a scenery every road leads us to a more beautiful view. Traveling through bike was totally breathtaking.

Rohtang pass and Pagal nala was one of the most adventurous experience. Leh ladakh is a must visit destination if you are a nature lover. It is the only place where you get a desert as well as snow. There are beautiful landscapes, snow covered mountains, rivers with crystal clear water and most important is the temperature. I was there in sep 2018 and avg temp during day was around 3C and night it dropped to 0C or below. The world famous Pangong Lake is absolutely amazing.

It is home to some of the best species of bird. It is surrounded by mountains and has a mesmerising view. Apart from this Nubra Valley is the place exactly opposite to Pangong. It is surrounded by sand dunes. The camels there are different species having 2 humps. Unlike Srinagar, people in leh are co operative. They survive on tourism which is in full flow only for 6 months. Remaining 6 months there is snowfall and temp constantly dipping. If you are a adventure lover this is a must visit place.
